We provide direct billing to most insurance providers and our clinic is wheelchair accessible. Millie, our therapy dog, is available upon request to ensure a calming experience. At SnuggleTooth, we’re committed to creating a non-judgmental, welcoming environment for all our patients.
WHAT TO EXPECT
At SnuggleTooth, we make sure your visit is as thorough and comfortable as possible. We’ll start by reviewing your medical and dental history, discussing any medications or allergies, and addressing any concerns you may have.
Next, we’ll conduct a gentle head and neck exam to screen for lumps or bumps as part of our oral cancer screening. We’ll also assess your teeth and gums to get a complete picture of your oral health.
Using a special gel, we highlight areas where plaque may be hiding, whether it’s new buildup or plaque that could lead to cavities. This helps us provide personalized tips, including brushing and flossing techniques, to keep your smile its best.
When it’s time for your cleaning, we use state-of-the-art tools, including the EMS Airflow machine (one of only three in Newfoundland!), an ultrasonic cleaner, and traditional hand instruments—all designed to be gentle and effective.
